About BGI

The Kingdom Cookout is an inspirational event designed to foster intergenerational wisdom-sharing and unbreakable bonds of brotherhood among Black males. It brings together Black male role models from the community to provide mentorship and meaningful connections through empowering discussions, culinary experiences, and uplifting activities.

This first annual gathering celebrates community, conversation, and cuisine in a setting tailored specifically for Black boys and men. It serves as a platform for growth, understanding, and the cultivation of strong masculine identities rooted in cultural pride.

Beyond the delicious food and fellowship, the event offers thought-provoking conversations on topics such as barbershop talks, divine consciousness, and divine masculinity, allowing participants to explore various aspects of personal and collective empowerment.

The Kingdom Cookout aims to spread intergenerational wisdom and build an unbreakable sense of brotherhood through mentorship and the forging of meaningful bonds within the Black male community.
